We're starting with a small pilot in the Sangotedo-Ajah corridor in Lagos, close to where residents work, run businesses and train.

Two months' rent plus a refundable deposit. Your rent depends on the location. Terms and conditions apply. Qualifying residents can pay the deposit in instalments, backed by a guarantor or employer. Every charge is written down before any payment.

A bed and lockable storage. You share the kitchen, sitting room and bathrooms with the other residents of the flat.

On top of your rent and deposit, you pay for your own electricity and cooking costs, water, waste collection and the maintenance service.

It costs much less to move in, but it isn't always cheaper over a year. A room paid monthly can cost more than one on an annual lease, so look at both before you decide.

In a shared room you share with one other resident. A private room is yours alone. Everyone shares the kitchen and sitting room.
